June 23rd Hey Gods and Goddesses! One thing I have noticed over my lifetime of being an artist and NOT always wanting to talk things out with a therapist or social worker, is I found comfort and healing in channeling my e-motions and pent-up feelings into art. I could sit and paint for hours and I was in my zone and extremely calm. I had a lot of "stuff," let's just say, from foster homes from ages 4-11 and didn't always want to chat with a "professional." Even in my adult years, I do my best to channel my e-motions into my art and creativity. Art therapy, facilitated by a professional healer, such as myself, effectively supports personal and relational treatment. Art therapy is used to improve cognitive and sensorimotor functions, build self-esteem, self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, promote insight, enhance social skills and reduces stress. I have decided to hold a sacred safe space for you to channel whatever you've been holding onto and create whatever comes to life from your soul. (ALL painting tools are provided by Holistic in Mystic) If you feel you aren't good, well, that doesn't matter! You ARE and ART is ART! It's not meant to be good or bad but have feeling and bring e-motions to one's awareness. It is about FREEDOM to be YOU! Unleash that inner God or Goddess or even your inner child! It doesn't matter! I will be here to help with creative tips should you ask. Please join me, Zoe (rescue 15 year old chihuahua) for a HeART felt evening of painting and tap into that sacred person you are and allow yourself to be free to create! We will have a 15 minute guided SACRAL Chakra Meditation prior to get those creative juices flowing! This will get you ready to paint your masterpiece! Organic beverages will be provided. Feel free to bring some light snacks of your choice. Uplifting high vibrational music will be on for extra good energy! Be sure to bring a good attitude ready to giggle and smile. We are VERY silly here. If you would like to set up a private VIP group session, or single ONE on ONE private, or even a Guardian/ child session, please let me know and we can set something up specifically for you! Max 6 for this event, but up to 8 for a private group event. What to wear: Whatever you don't mind getting paint on! Be comfortable!
